The experimental short film Toelt-Feedback looks precisely at psycho-physiological
processes and interactions between people and horses. The focus is on a special
pace of the iceland horse called “Toelt”, which I investigate as the crystallization of
complex relations between people and animals. The film includes neither a linear
plot, nor characters or dialogues in a classical sense. I use visual and acoustic
recordings of toelting horses. I want to focus especially on the vegetative transitions
and tensions between animalistic and human, cultural forms of actions and
interactions between people and animals.
